The BLCP Power Station's CEMS report for September 2024 presents air pollutant emission monitoring data from the stacks of Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout the month, covering Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulate (TSP).
For Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) from both Unit 1 and Unit 2, the maximum hourly measured values throughout September 2024 consistently remained below the Thai legal standard criteria (SO2: 320 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx: 350 ppmvd@7%O2) and EIA criteria (SO2: 262 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx: 241 ppmvd@7%O2).
The Opacity of gases emitted to the atmosphere from both units also showed a stable and low trend throughout September 2024, indicating good emission control in this aspect.
However, regarding Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), a notable observation was made for Unit 2, with a maximum value of 43.43 mg/m³, which is equal to the EIA criterion (43 mg/m³@7%O2). The cause was identified as an abnormality in ESP A1-4S and sparking in A1-2S, B1-1S. Meanwhile, Unit 1's TSP values remained below the Thai legal standard (120 mg/m³@7%O2) and EIA criteria.
