BLCP Power Station's CEMs Monthly Report for September 2022 presents the results of air pollutant emission measurements from the stacks of Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout September 2022. This includes measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulate (TSP).
The measurement results for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) from Unit 1 and Unit 2 showed that the maximum hourly concentrations were consistently below the legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 262 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month. Similarly, Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) consistently recorded maximum hourly concentrations below the legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
Regarding the opacity of gases emitted into the atmosphere from the stacks of both units, values remained low throughout September 2022. Furthermore, the measurement results for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) clearly indicated maximum hourly values below the legal standard of 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 43 mg/m³@7%O2.
