This BLCP Power Station CEMS October 2024 report presents stack emission monitoring data for October 2024, covering sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), opacity, and total suspended particulate (TSP) measurements for Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Hourly maximum measurements of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout October 2024 consistently remained below the Thai legal standards (SO2 not exceeding 320 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx not exceeding 350 ppmvd@7%O2) and EIA criteria (SO2 not exceeding 262 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx not exceeding 241 ppmvd@7%O2).
Regarding the hourly maximum opacity of gases emitted to the atmosphere for both units in October 2024, it also remained at low levels throughout the month.
For hourly maximum total suspended particulate (TSP) emitted to the atmosphere, the Thai legal standard is set at 120 mg/m³@7%O2, and the EIA criterion is 43 mg/m³@7%O2. Unit 1 recorded values slightly exceeding the EIA criterion on several occasions.
Details of TSP values exceeding the EIA criterion for Unit 1 include: 43.04 mg/m³ due to high dust accumulation in the boiler; 43.12 mg/m³ during air flow adjustment while starting Pul.C in preparation for Pul.D shutdown maintenance after replacing Pul.C's lubricating oil rollers; and 45.79 mg/m³ due to high dust accumulation in ESP zone 4s.
