The Monthly Air Quality Report for October 2025 from BLCP Power Station presents air quality monitoring results from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS). Overall, all measured values were "within standards" and "safe for health".
For emission monitoring from the power plant stacks using the CEMS, it was found that the values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) were within the specified limits, according to both Thai legal standards and EIA requirements. Specifically, TSP values were below 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and 43 mg/m³@7%O2, respectively; SO2 values were below 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and 262 ppmvd@7%O2, respectively; and NOx values were below 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and 241 ppmvd@7%O2, respectively.
Regarding the four Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) located at Wat Takuan, Soi Thoedthai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mabchalood, the monitoring results for October 2025 showed that all values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were "within standards" according to Thailand's national standards, with TSP below 330 µg/m³, PM10 below 120 µg/m³, SO2 below 300 ppb, and NO2 below 170 ppb.
BLCP Power Station continuously implements pollution control measures such as clean coal technology, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection, and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems for SO2 removal. This includes 24-hour automated monitoring and monthly reporting of results to government agencies and the community to ensure that air quality remains at a level safe for the health of the surrounding community.
