BLCP Power Station's Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) report for November 2024 presents the emission monitoring results from stacks of Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout the month, covering four key parameters: Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulate (TSP).
For Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, the maximum hourly average values for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout November 2024 consistently remained below the legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report standard of 262 ppmvd@7%O2.
Regarding Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), the monitoring results show that the maximum hourly average values for Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout November 2024 were also below the legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report standard of 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
Furthermore, the Opacity of gases emitted to the atmosphere from both units remained very low throughout the month. As for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), the maximum hourly average values for Unit 1 and Unit 2 were clearly below the legal standard of 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and the EIA report standard of 43 mg/m³@7%O2.
In summary, the CEMS monitoring results for November 2024 confirm that air emissions from the stacks of BLCP Power Station's Unit 1 and Unit 2 are in full compliance with the standards stipulated by law and the EIA report. The full details are available in the attached file.
