BLCP Power Station's Air Quality Report for November 2025 presents monitoring results from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and 4 Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS). In summary, all pollutant values were found to be "within standards" and "safe for health."
CEMS monitoring results for emissions from BLCP Power Station's stacks in November 2025 show that Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) were all below the standards set by Thai law and EIA requirements. Specifically, TSP did not exceed 120 mg/m³@7%O2 (Thai law) and 43 mg/m³@7%O2 (EIA); SO2 did not exceed 320 ppmvd@7%O2 (Thai law) and 262 ppmvd@7%O2 (EIA); and NOx did not exceed 350 ppmvd@7%O2 (Thai law) and 241 ppmvd@7%O2 (EIA).
For ambient air quality monitored by the 4 AQMS stations at Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were all found to be within Thai legal standards. Specifically, TSP did not exceed 330 µg/m³; PM10 did not exceed 120 µg/m³; SO2 did not exceed 300 ppb; and NO2 did not exceed 170 ppb.
BLCP Power Station employs pollution control measures using clean coal technology, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems. Additionally, air quality is monitored 24 hours a day using an automated system, and results are reported to government agencies and disclosed to the community monthly.
