BLCP Power Station's Monthly Air Quality Report for May 2569 presents the measurement results for both stack emissions (CEMS) and ambient air quality (AQMS), indicating that all measured values are within the prescribed standards and safe for health.
Regarding stack emission measurements (CEMS), Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) were found to be below both the Thai legal standards and the specified EIA requirements. The maximum hourly values are shown in the accompanying graph.
For ambient air quality from the 4 monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, the measurement results for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were all within the Thai legal standards.
BLCP Power Station employs pollution control measures using clean coal technology, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems for SO2 removal. Additionally, 24-hour automatic air quality monitoring is conducted, with results reported to government agencies and disclosed to the community monthly.
