Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMs) Report for May 2021 of BLCP Power Station covers the measurement of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) from Unit 1 and Unit 2, presenting the maximum hourly values throughout the month.
The measurement results for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) for both units throughout May 2021 consistently showed values below the Thai legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA criterion of 262 ppmvd@7%O2.
As for the measurement results for Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) for both units, values were also below the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA criterion of 241 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month.
From May 11-17, 2021, Unit 1 underwent an outage, resulting in a significant reduction in Unit 1's emission values during that period.
For the measurement of Opacity and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) emitted into the atmosphere from both units, values were found to be very low, with most Opacity values below 10% and most TSP values below 20 mg/m3 throughout May 2021.
In summary, BLCP Power Station's stack emissions in May 2021 for all measured parameters remained below the established standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
