This Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) Report for May 2021 presents emission monitoring data from the stacks of BLCP Power Station for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout May 2021, even though the post title indicates March 2021.
Hourly maximum measurements for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) showed that the measured values for both units were below the Thai legal standards (SO2 not exceeding 320 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx not exceeding 350 ppmvd@7%O2) and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) standards (SO2 not exceeding 262 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx not exceeding 241 ppmvd@7%O2) throughout the month.
During May 13-17, 2021, Unit 1 underwent an outage, which resulted in no emissions during that period. As for the hourly maximum values for Opacity and Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) for both units, they also consistently showed low measured values throughout May 2021.
Overall, the air emission monitoring data from the stacks of BLCP Power Station in May 2021 indicates that all measured parameters were within the specified standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
