BLCP Power Station has summarized the air quality monitoring results for March 2026, both from the stacks and in the surrounding atmosphere. All monitoring results indicate that the values are within standard criteria and safe for health.
For air quality monitoring from the stacks (CEMS), it was found that the values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) are within the standard criteria according to Thai law and EIA requirements. All measured values were below the specified limits.
Regarding ambient air quality monitoring from 4 stations, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, it was found that the values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) are also within the standard criteria according to Thai law.
BLCP Power Station utilizes clean coal technology, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems. Additionally, 24-hour monitoring is conducted, and results are regularly reported to government agencies and the community to ensure continuous safe air quality.
