Monthly Air Quality Report for June 2025 of BLCP Power Station, covering both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the 4 surrounding Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS). All monitoring results indicate that pollutant levels are within standard limits and safe for health.
Regarding stack emission monitoring (CEMS), Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) levels are within the standards stipulated by Thai law and EIA requirements, with TSP values below 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and 43 mg/m³@7%O2, respectively; SO2 values below 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and 262 ppmvd@7%O2; and NOx values below 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
As for the 4 Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS), namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoedthai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, measurements showed that Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) levels were all within the standards stipulated by Thai law.
BLCP Power Station employs pollution control measures using clean coal technology, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for particulate matter control and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems for SO2 removal. 24-hour monitoring is conducted using an automated system, and results are reported to government agencies and disclosed to the community monthly.
In summary, the air quality monitoring results from both stack emissions and ambient air for June 2025 indicate that all pollutant levels are within the prescribed standards, thereby confirming safety for health and the environment. Further details are available in the attached file.
