BLCP Power Station would like to report the air quality monitoring results for July 2026. This report covers both stack emissions (CEMS) and ambient air quality (AQMS). All monitoring results indicate that the values are within standard limits and safe for health.
For stack emission monitoring (CEMS), the values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) are all within the standard limits set by Thai law and EIA requirements. Specifically, TSP does not exceed 120 mg/m³@7%O2 (legal) and 43 mg/m³@7%O2 (EIA), SO2 does not exceed 320 ppmvd@7%O2 (legal) and 262 ppmvd@7%O2 (EIA), and NOx does not exceed 350 ppmvd@7%O2 (legal) and 241 ppmvd@7%O2 (EIA).
Regarding ambient air quality (AQMS) from the 4 monitoring stations around the power plant, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, it was found that Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) did not exceed 200 µg/m³, Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) did not exceed 100 µg/m³, Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) did not exceed 100 ppb, and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) did not exceed 120 ppb. All these values are within the standard limits set by Thai law.
BLCP Power Station employs pollution control measures using clean coal technology, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) for SO2 removal. Additionally, air quality is monitored automatically 24 hours a day, and results are reported to government agencies and the community monthly.
All monitoring results for July 2026 confirm that both stack emissions and ambient air quality around BLCP Power Station are within standard limits and safe for health. Further details can be found in the attached file.
