BLCP Power Station would like to report the air quality for July 2025, covering measurement results from the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) around the power plant.
CEMS measurement results for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) indicate that all values are within the standards set by Thai law and EIA requirements. Specifically, TSP values did not exceed 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and were <43 mg/m³@7%O2, SO2 values did not exceed 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and were 262 ppmvd@7%O2, and NOx values did not exceed 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and were 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
As for ambient air quality from the 4 AQMS stations around the power plant, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, it was found that values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were all within the standards set by Thai law as well.
Specifically, TSP values did not exceed 330 µg/m³, PM10 values did not exceed 120 µg/m³, SO2 values did not exceed 300 ppb, and NO2 values did not exceed 170 ppb. This indicates that the overall air quality is safe for health.
BLCP Power Station continuously implements pollution control measures such as clean coal technology, Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) dust collection systems, and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems for SO2 removal. It also conducts 24-hour monitoring and reports the results to government agencies and the community monthly. Full details are available in the attached file.
