The BLCP Power Station's CEMS report for January 2023 presents air pollutant emission measurement data from the power plant's stacks throughout January 2023, covering four main parameters: Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) from Unit 1 and Unit 2.
The maximum hourly measurements for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) showed that the values measured from both Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout January 2023 were consistently below the Thai legal standards and the values specified in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report. The maximum legal limits are 320 ppmvd@7%O2 for SO2 and 350 ppmvd@7%O2 for NOx.
Similarly, the maximum hourly values for Opacity and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) also indicated that the measured values from both units were below the prescribed standards. The maximum legal limit for TSP is 120 mg/m³@7%O2, and the EIA value is 43 mg/m³@7%O2.
Between January 15-20, 2023, Unit 2 underwent an outage, resulting in no measurement data during that period. However, the overall air pollutant emissions from BLCP Power Station in January 2023 complied with environmental requirements. Full details are available in the attached file.
