The Monthly CEMS Report for February 2024 summarizes the results of air pollutant emission measurements from the stacks of BLCP Power Station for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout February 2024, from February 1 to 29, 2024.
Hourly maximum sulfur dioxide (SO2) measurement results showed that the measured values for both units were below the legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 262 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month.
Similarly, for hourly maximum nitrogen oxides (NOx) measurements, the measured values for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were below the legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
Hourly maximum measurements for Opacity and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) also showed favorable results. The TSP values for both units were below the legal standard of 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 43 mg/m³@7%O2.
In summary, the air pollutant emission measurement results from BLCP Power Station's stacks in February 2024 for all specified parameters, namely SO2, NOx, Opacity, and TSP, consistently remained below the legal and EIA report standards throughout the month.
