BLCP Power Station would like to report the air quality monitoring results for February 2569, from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the four Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) around the power plant. The overall monitoring results indicate that the air quality remains within standard limits and is safe for health.
For air quality monitoring from the power plant's stacks using the CEMS, it was found that the main parameters, namely Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), all remained within the standard limits as per Thai law and EIA requirements throughout February 2569.
Regarding ambient air quality monitoring around the power plant from all four AQMS stations, located at Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, it was found that the parameters Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were within standard limits. However, monitoring results for Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) and Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) on February 10, 2569, showed values that did not meet the standard, but upon investigation, it was determined that these were not caused by the power plant's production processes.
BLCP Power Station continuously implements pollution control measures, such as clean coal technology, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP), and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems, including 24-hour monitoring and monthly reporting of results to government agencies and the community, to ensure that air quality remains safe.
