The Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMs) Report for December 2020 of BLCP Power Station presents the maximum hourly measurement data for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) for Unit 1 and Unit 2.
For Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), the stack emission values for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout December 2020 were found to be below the Thai legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report value of 262 ppmvd@7%O2. Unit 1 underwent maintenance shutdown in early December, and Unit 2 underwent maintenance shutdown in mid-December.
Regarding Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), the measurement results showed that the stack emission values for both units were below the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 241 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the operating period in December 2020.
The Opacity of the gases emitted to the atmosphere from both units remained very low throughout the month, mostly below 10%. For Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), the maximum hourly measurement values for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were consistently below the Thai legal standard of 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 43 mg/m³@7%O2.
In summary, the measurement report shows that BLCP Power Station's stack emissions in December 2020 complied with the specified requirements and standards for all four major pollutants.
