The BLCP Power Station's air quality report for December 2025 shows that the air quality, both from the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) around the power plant, meets all specified standard criteria and is safe for health.
Measurement results from the CEMS for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) indicate that the measured values are below both Thai legal standards and EIA requirements. Throughout December 2025, these values remained within the specified criteria.
For ambient air quality measurements from the 4 AQMS stations around the power plant, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, it was found that the values for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were all within Thai legal standard criteria.
BLCP Power Station utilizes clean coal technologies such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems. Additionally, 24-hour monitoring is conducted, and results are regularly reported to government agencies and the community to control and disclose air quality data.
