This report summarizes the results of the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) for BLCP Power Station for August 2024, covering data for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) from Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Throughout August 2024, the maximum hourly concentrations of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) from both Unit 1 and Unit 2 consistently remained below the Thai legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA standard of 262 ppmvd@7%O2.
Similarly, the maximum hourly concentrations of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) for both units also remained below the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA standard of 241 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month.
The maximum hourly opacity of flue gas from Unit 1 and Unit 2 remained below 10% throughout August 2024.
For Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), the maximum hourly concentrations for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were below the Thai legal standard of 120 mg/m³@7%O2. However, it was noted for Unit 2 that the maximum particulate matter value was 43.13 mg/m³, slightly exceeding the EIA standard of 43 mg/m3. The cause was identified as lower-than-normal calorific value of the fuel coal.
Overall, the CEMS data for August 2024 indicates that BLCP Power Station's air pollutant emissions largely complied with the established standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
