The monthly air quality report for August 2025 of BLCP Power Station, from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the 4 Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) around BLCP Power Station, showed that all measured values were within the prescribed standards and safe for health.
CEMS monitoring results for August 2025 indicated that Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) were all within limits. The measured values were below the standards set by Thai law and EIA requirements, such as TSP not exceeding 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and SO2 not exceeding 320 ppmvd@7%O2.
For ambient air quality monitoring from the 4 AQMS stations around BLCP Power Station in August 2025, Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were all found to be within the standards set by Thai law. The measured values were below the prescribed standards, such as TSP not exceeding 330 µg/m³ and PM10 not exceeding 120 µg/m³.
The 4 ambient air quality monitoring stations are: Station A: Wat Takuan, Station B: Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, Station C: PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Station D: Wat Mab Chalood.
BLCP Power Station employs pollution control measures such as clean coal technology, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection, and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems for SO2 removal. This includes 24-hour automatic monitoring with AQMS and monthly reporting of results to government agencies and the community to ensure air quality remains safe.
