The CEMs report for April 2021 presents air pollutant emission measurement data from the BLCP Power Station stacks, including Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulate (TSP). It displays the maximum hourly measurement results for Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout April 2021.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, Unit 1 experienced an outage from April 1-9, 2021, and resumed operation thereafter. Unit 2 operated throughout the month. The SO2 values for both units varied throughout the month, but overall remained below the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA criterion of 262 ppmvd@7%O2.
For Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Unit 1 also experienced an outage from April 1-9, 2021, and resumed operation thereafter. NOx values for Unit 2 fluctuated throughout the month, but remained below the Thai legal standard of 150 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA criterion of 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
The Opacity of exhaust gas emitted to the atmosphere from both Unit 1 and Unit 2 was low, mostly not exceeding 10%. Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) values were also very low, mostly not exceeding 20 mg/m3 for both units. Unit 1 experienced an outage in early April 2021, similar to other measurements.
Overall air pollutant measurements from the BLCP Power Station stacks in April 2021 indicate that emissions from both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were well-controlled and complied with the standard requirements specified in the document. Full details are available in the attached file.
