BLCP Power Station has published its monthly air quality report for April 2026, covering both stack emissions (CEMS) and ambient air quality (AQMS). All measurement results indicate that the values are "within standards" and "safe for health".
For stack emission measurements using the CEMS system, the parameters monitored include Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx). Measurement results for all parameters are within the standards stipulated by Thai law and EIA requirements.
Regarding ambient air quality measurements from the four monitoring stations around BLCP Power Station, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, the parameters monitored are Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). All values are within the standards stipulated by Thai law.
BLCP Power Station continuously implements pollution control measures such as clean coal technology with Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) for SO2 removal. This also includes 24-hour automated air quality monitoring and monthly reporting of results to government agencies and the community.
This report confirms that the air quality, both from stack emissions and in the ambient atmosphere around BLCP Power Station in April 2026, is at a safe level and complies with established standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
