BLCP joins in preserving the "Sweet Clam Wedding" to foster community collaboration and restore abundance to the Rayong Sea.

Because the abundance of the sea does not result from conservation efforts on a single day, but from the cooperation of all sectors and the transfer of knowledge from generation to generation.

On September 10, 2569, BLCP Power Station, represented by Ms. Kanchalika Insee, Public and Community Relations Manager, participated in the "Sweet Clam Wedding: Fostering Relationships, Restoring Abundance to the Sea" activity, a sweet clam wedding according to the local tradition of Noen Phra Sub-district, held at the Mangrove Learning and Tourism Center, Noen Phra Municipality, Rayong Province.

The activity was organized by the Suchada Beach Small-Scale Fishermen Community Enterprise Group in collaboration with local agencies and network partners to collectively preserve the wisdom and culture of the fishing community, while creating learning opportunities about sweet clam conservation, sweet clam farming, and the way of life of small-scale fishermen for local residents and youth.

The "Sweet Clam Wedding" is therefore not merely an activity reflecting the community's unique identity, but also a force in raising awareness about the value of marine resources and the sustainable care of the ecosystem to maintain its abundance.
