The Monthly Air Quality Report for November 2025 of BLCP Power Station presents air quality monitoring results from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) at the power plant stack and from the 4 Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) surrounding the power plant.
Monitoring results from the BLCP Power Station stack using the CEMS indicate that Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) all met the standards set by Thai law and EIA requirements, with measured values below the specified limits.
For ambient air quality monitoring around the power plant using the AQMS in November 2025, results showed that Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) all met the standards set by Thai law.
The 4 air quality monitoring stations are located at Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood. BLCP Power Station utilizes clean coal technology, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection, and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) for SO2 removal, along with 24-hour monitoring to control pollution.
