This ambient air quality report for May 2024 presents the measurement results for four key air quality parameters: Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).
Measurements were conducted at four air quality monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Thoet Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood, throughout May 2024.
The 24-hour average measurement results for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) and Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) were consistently below Thailand's legal standard limits of 330 micrograms per cubic meter and 120 micrograms per cubic meter, respectively, throughout May 2024 at all monitoring stations.
For the hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the values were clearly below the legal standard limits of 300 ppb and 170 ppb, respectively, at all monitoring stations throughout May 2024.
In summary, the ambient air quality measurement results for all four key parameters at the four monitoring stations in May 2024 indicate that the air quality was good and in compliance with Thailand's legal standards throughout the month.
