The Environmental Air Quality Monitoring Report for May 2021 (AQMs May 2021) presents the results of air quality measurements around the BLCP Power Station throughout May 2021. Key air pollutants were measured at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Maptaphut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Staff Residence, and Wat Mab Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) showed values throughout May 2021 to be below 100 micrograms per cubic meter, which is significantly lower than the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter.
Similarly, for 24-hour average measurements of Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10), values throughout May 2021 were below 50 micrograms per cubic meter, which is lower than the legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
For hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), values throughout May 2021 at all four monitoring stations were below 50 ppb for both parameters, which is lower than the legal standard of 300 ppb for SO2 and 170 ppb for NO2.
In summary, the overall environmental air quality monitoring results for May 2021 indicate that all air pollutant parameters, including TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2, consistently remained below Thailand's legal standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
