The AQMS Report for March 2023 summarizes the air quality monitoring results around BLCP Power Station throughout March 2023, covering the measurement of Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Map Ta Phut Municipality, National Housing Authority, and Wat Map Chalood.
For the 24-hour average Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) values, it was found that throughout March 2023, the measured values at all stations were in the range of approximately 0-80 micrograms per cubic meter, which is clearly below the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter.
Similarly, for the 24-hour average Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) values, the results were similar. The measured values at all stations were in the range of approximately 0-80 micrograms per cubic meter, which remained below the legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month.
For the hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, it was found that the measured values at all stations were in the range of approximately 0-20 ppb, which is significantly below the legal standard of 300 ppb.
Similarly, for the hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) values, the measured values at all stations were in the range of approximately 0-30 ppb, which remained below the legal standard of 170 ppb throughout March 2023.
In summary, the air quality monitoring results for all four parameters at all four monitoring stations around BLCP Power Station in March 2023 were all within the established legal standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
