Meeting Report "AQMs March 2021" presents the results of ambient air quality monitoring around BLCP Power Station throughout March 2021, with measurements of 4 key air pollutants: Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).
The 24-hour average measurement results for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) at Tha Kuan, Third Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood monitoring stations throughout March 2021 were consistently below the Thai legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, the 24-hour average PM10 values were below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter at all monitoring stations and on every day of the month.
For the hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, the values obtained from all four monitoring stations throughout March 2021 were clearly below the standard of 300 parts per billion (ppb).
Similarly, the hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) values also showed results below the standard of 170 parts per billion (ppb) at all monitoring stations and on every day of March 2021.
