BLCP Power Station's Environmental Air Quality Monitoring Report for June 2023 presents the results of air quality measurements around the power plant throughout June 2023, covering four key parameters: Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) and Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) at monitoring stations Wat Takuan, Maptaphut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood throughout June 2023 showed that all measured values were below the legal standards, which are set at 330 micrograms per cubic meter for TSP and 120 micrograms per cubic meter for PM10. It was noted that on June 23, dust and water stains were found in the filter at Station C, and on June 22, data at Sheler A was abnormal.
For the hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), all measured values throughout June 2023 at the same monitoring stations consistently remained below the legal standards. The standard values are 300 ppb for SO2 and 170 ppb for NO2.
In summary, the overall environmental air quality monitoring results for June 2023 indicate that all measured parameters were within the legally prescribed standards at all monitoring stations.
