The Air Quality Monitoring Report for BLCP Power Station's surrounding areas for July 2023 presents the results of key air pollutant measurements at 4 monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
Measurements of Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) and Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) throughout July 2023 showed significantly lower values than the legally prescribed standards. The 24-hour average values for TSP were below 330 micrograms per cubic meter, and PM10 were below 120 micrograms per cubic meter at all monitoring stations.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the hourly maximum measurements throughout July 2023 clearly indicated values below the legally prescribed standards. SO2 values were below 300 parts per billion (ppb), and NO2 values were below 170 parts per billion (ppb) in all monitored areas.
In summary, the air quality around BLCP Power Station during July 2023 was very good and complied with the air quality standards stipulated by Thai law for all measured parameters.
