The Monthly Air Quality Report for January 2021 of BLCP Power Station presents the results of air quality measurements around the power plant throughout the month, and included measurements of Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).
From the 24-hour average measurements of Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), it was found that the values measured at Ban Mab Chalood Air Quality Monitoring Station, Wat Takuan, Map Ta Phut Municipality, and PTT Housing throughout January 2021 were below the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter.
Similarly, the 24-hour average PM10 values were measured below the legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter at all aforementioned air quality monitoring stations throughout January 2021.
As for the hourly maximum values of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) measured at the same stations, they were also found to be below the legal standards of 300 ppb and 170 ppb, respectively, throughout January 2021.
Overall, the air quality measurement results for all 4 parameters at Ban Mab Chalood Air Quality Monitoring Station, Wat Takuan, Map Ta Phut Municipality, and PTT Housing in January 2021 indicate that the air quality around BLCP Power Station is good and complies with legal standards.
