The Ambient Air Quality Report for December 2024 presents air quality monitoring results from 4 stations, namely Wat Takuan, Maptaphut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood, to monitor particulate matter and gaseous pollutants in the atmosphere.
The 24-hour average Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) monitoring results show that values measured at all stations throughout December 2024 were consistently below the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, for 24-hour average Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10), all stations recorded values below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month.
Regarding the hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, values at all stations throughout December 2024 were clearly below the legal standard of 300 ppb as well.
For hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the measured values at all stations were also below the legal standard of 170 ppb throughout the reporting period.
In summary, the overall ambient air quality in the monitoring area throughout December 2024 shows that all key parameters, including particulate matter and gaseous pollutants, were within the legally prescribed standards. Full details and monitoring data are available in the attached file.
