Monthly Air Quality Report for December 2021 of BLCP Power Station presents the results of air quality measurements around the power plant, covering key parameters such as Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). Measurements were conducted at various air monitoring stations, including Wat Takuan, Maptaphut Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
For 24-hour average Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) measurements throughout December 2021, all measured values at various stations were below the legal standard, which is set at 330 µg/Nm³ for a 24-hour average.
Regarding 24-hour average Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), measurement results throughout December 2021 showed that all measured values at various stations were below the legal standard, which is set at 120 µg/Nm³ for a 24-hour average.
For hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) measurements throughout December 2021, all measured values at various stations were below the legal standard, with the SO2 standard set at 300 ppb for a 1-hour average and the NO2 standard set at 170 ppb for a 1-hour average.
In summary, the air quality around BLCP Power Station in December 2021 for all measured parameters, namely TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2, met the legal standards. Further details can be found in the attached file.
