BLCP Power Station's monthly air quality report for December 2025, from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the 4 Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) surrounding BLCP Power Station, indicates that the overall air quality is safe for health, and all measured values are within the prescribed standards.
CEMS emission monitoring results for December 2025 show that Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) are all within the standards set by Thai law and EIA requirements. Specifically, TSP does not exceed 120 mg/m³@7%O2 (Thai law) and 43 mg/m³@7%O2 (EIA); SO2 does not exceed 320 ppmvd@7%O2 (Thai law) and 262 ppmvd@7%O2 (EIA); and NOx does not exceed 350 ppmvd@7%O2 (Thai law) and 241 ppmvd@7%O2 (EIA).
For ambient air quality monitoring from the 4 AQMS stations around the power plant in the same month, Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) did not exceed 330 µg/m³ (24-hour average), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) did not exceed 120 µg/m³ (24-hour average), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) did not exceed 300 ppb (1-hour maximum), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) did not exceed 170 ppb (1-hour maximum). All these values are within the standards prescribed by Thai law.
The 4 ambient air quality monitoring stations are located at Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, the PTT staff housing fence, and Wat Mab Chalood. BLCP Power Station utilizes clean coal technologies such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems. Monitoring is conducted 24 hours a day, and results are regularly reported to government agencies and the community.
