Monthly Air Quality Report for August 2024 presents the results of air quality monitoring around BLCP Power Station, covering the period from August 1-31, 2024.
The monitoring results for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) and Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) at Tha Kuan, Wat Thera Phlai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood monitoring stations show that all 24-hour average values are within the prescribed standards, with legal limits of 330 µg/Nm³ for TSP and 120 µg/Nm³ for PM10.
For the hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the values measured at various stations remain within the prescribed standards, with legal limits of 300 ppb for SO2 and 170 ppb for NO2.
However, it was noted that Station D experienced equipment issues, such as a faulty main breaker, and sampling problems for TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2. Additionally, Station C had sampling issues for PM10. Full details are available in the attached file.
