The Monthly Air Quality Report for August 2025 of BLCP Power Station presents monitoring results from both the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and 4 Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) surrounding the power plant. All monitoring results indicate that the values are within standard limits and safe for health.
For stack emission monitoring (CEMS), Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) values did not exceed 120 mg/m³@7%O2, Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) did not exceed 320 ppmvd@7%O2, and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) did not exceed 350 ppmvd@7%O2. These values are lower than both Thai legal standards and EIA requirements.
Regarding ambient air quality monitoring from the 4 AQMS stations, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) values did not exceed 330 µg/m³, Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) did not exceed 120 µg/m³, Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) did not exceed 300 ppb, and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) did not exceed 170 ppb. All these values are within Thai legal standards.
BLCP Power Station utilizes clean coal technology, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems for SO2 removal. Additionally, 24-hour automatic monitoring is conducted, and results are reported to government agencies and disclosed to the community monthly to control pollution.
In summary, all parameters of the air quality monitoring results, both from stack emissions and ambient air, for August 2025 of BLCP Power Station are within the prescribed standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
