BLCP Power Station's Ambient Air Quality Report for April 2023 presents air quality monitoring results from 4 monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Map Ta Phut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood, throughout April 2023.
24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) showed values below 100 micrograms per cubic meter at all stations, which is significantly lower than the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, 24-hour average measurements for Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) were below 50 micrograms per cubic meter, which is clearly below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
For hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, most values were low. However, there was a slight increase in values at Wat Takuan and Map Ta Phut Subdistrict Municipality stations during April 20-22, 2023, but these remained significantly below the legal standard of 300 ppb. As for hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) measurements, all stations recorded values below 50 ppb throughout the month, which is well below the standard of 170 ppb.
Overall, the ambient air quality monitoring results for BLCP Power Station in April 2023 demonstrate that all four types of air pollutants were consistently below the established legal standards throughout the month. Full details are available in the attached file.
