The AQMs Report for April 2021 presents the results of air quality measurements in the area around BLCP Power Station throughout April 2021. Four main air pollutants were measured: Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). Measurements were taken at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Map Ta Phut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Map Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) throughout April 2021 showed that all measured values were clearly below the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. At certain times and stations, such as Stations A, B, and C on April 5, and Station C on April 11 and 15, the data was indicated as being 'under sampling'.
For Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), the 24-hour average measurements also showed values below the legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month. Similar to TSP, some data at certain times and stations was indicated as being 'under sampling'.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), which were measured as hourly maximum values, all measured values throughout April 2021 consistently remained below the legal standards of 300 ppb for SO2 and 170 ppb for NO2.
In summary, the air quality measurement results for April 2021 showed that all four air pollutants measured at various stations around BLCP Power Station were within all legal standards. Further details can be found in the attached file.
