This CEMs report for November 2019 presents the results of air pollutant emission measurements from the BLCP Power Station stack, covering sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), opacity, and particulate matter.
For sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions in November 2019, the maximum hourly concentration for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 was below 200 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month. The Thai legal standard is 320 ppmvd@7%O2, and the EIA report value is 262 ppmvd@7%O2. During November 12-20, 2019, Unit 1 experienced an outage, which significantly reduced SO2 values.
Regarding nitrogen oxides (NOx), the maximum hourly concentration for both units was also below 200 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout November 2019, which is lower than the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 241 ppmvd@7%O2. Unit 1 experienced an outage during the same period as SO2.
The maximum hourly opacity of exhaust gas released into the atmosphere for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 was below 10% throughout November 2019. For particulate matter in the exhaust gas (maximum hourly value), both units recorded values below 30 mg/m3@7%O2, which is lower than the Thai legal standard of 120 mg/m³@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 43 mg/m³@7%O2. During Unit 1's outage, both opacity and particulate matter values also decreased.
In summary, the air pollutant emission measurements from the BLCP Power Station stack for November 2019, including sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, opacity, and particulate matter, all remained within the standards stipulated by law and the EIA report throughout the month.
