This report presents data on air pollutant emissions measured from BLCP Power Station stacks for July 2019, covering measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), and Opacity from generating units 1 and 2 throughout the month.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements, the maximum hourly emission values for both generating units 1 and 2 throughout July 2019 consistently remained below the Thai legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 262 ppmvd@7%O2. It was noted that generating unit 1 had a shutdown of BUF A for CO gas release early in the month and valve testing and FGD cleaning in the middle of the month.
For Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), the maximum hourly emission values for both generating units also remained below the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA report value of 241 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month.
As for the Opacity of gases emitted to the atmosphere (maximum hourly values) from generating units 1 and 2, the values remained low throughout July 2019.
Overall, the measurement results for all three types of air pollutant emissions from BLCP Power Station stacks in July 2019 consistently demonstrated levels below the standards stipulated by law and the EIA report. Full details are available in the attached file.
