This report summarizes the results of air pollutant emission measurements from the stacks of BLCP Power Station for December 2562, covering sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), opacity, and total suspended particulate (TSP).
Throughout December 2562, the maximum hourly concentrations of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 remained below the Thai legal standards (SO2: 320 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx: 350 ppmvd@7%O2) and EIA limits (SO2: 262 ppmvd@7%O2, NOx: 241 ppmvd@7%O2).
The maximum hourly exhaust gas opacity for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 consistently showed low values throughout the reporting period. Additionally, Unit 2 had an outage period from approximately December 10-18, 2562, which is reflected in the emission data for all parameters.
However, for total suspended particulate (TSP), Unit 1 exceeded the limit. This was due to the unit's rapid production response to dispatch orders, causing both FD fan inlet guide vanes to open wider, resulting in increased airflow.
