BLCP Power Station's Monthly CEMs Meeting Report for August 2019 presents the results of emission measurements from the power plant's stacks, including sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and exhaust gas opacity.
Hourly maximum sulfur dioxide (SO2) measurements throughout August 2019 consistently showed that SO2 emissions from both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were below the prescribed standard limits. The maximum values did not exceed 200 ppmvd@7%O2, which is continuously lower than the Thai legal standard of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA standard of 262 ppmvd@7%O2.
For hourly maximum nitrogen oxides (NOx) measurements throughout August 2019, the results indicated that NOx emissions from both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were below the prescribed standard limits. The maximum values did not exceed 200 ppmvd@7%O2, which is lower than the Thai legal standard of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA standard of 241 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout the month.
Regarding hourly maximum exhaust gas opacity released into the atmosphere throughout August 2019, the opacity values for both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were consistently low. Most values did not exceed 15-20% throughout the measurement period.
All measurement results indicate that BLCP Power Station's stack emissions in August 2019 complied with relevant regulations and standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
