BLCP Power Station's CEMs Monthly Report for December 2016 presents data on pollutant emissions from stacks into the atmosphere, including sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and exhaust gas opacity for Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout December 2016.
For sulfur dioxide (SO2) measurements, the atmospheric emission values (maximum hourly concentration) for both units were below the specified criteria. The Thai legal limit is 320 ppmvd@7%O2, and the EIA report limit is 262 ppmvd@7%O2. An event of "FGD cleaning" (Flue Gas Desulfurization system cleaning) was noted on December 17, 2016, which may have affected the measured values during that period.
Regarding nitrogen oxides (NOx), the atmospheric emission values (maximum hourly concentration) for Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout December 2016 also remained below the specified criteria. The Thai legal limit is 350 ppmvd@7%O2, and the EIA report limit is 241 ppmvd@7%O2.
As for the exhaust gas opacity values emitted into the atmosphere (maximum hourly values) for Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout December 2016, they showed fluctuating opacity levels daily. The maximum value displayed on the graph did not exceed 58%.
