BLCP Power Station's CEMS Report for May 2020 presents emission monitoring data from stacks of Unit 1 and Unit 2 throughout May 2020, covering measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Opacity, and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP).
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) emissions, both Unit 1 and Unit 2 consistently recorded maximum hourly concentrations released into the atmosphere below the Thai legal limit of 320 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA criterion of 262 ppmvd@7%O2 throughout May 2020.
For Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Unit 1 and Unit 2 also showed maximum hourly concentration measurements below the Thai legal limit of 350 ppmvd@7%O2 and the EIA criterion of 241 ppmvd@7%O2, with most values ranging between 100-150 ppmvd@7%O2.
The Opacity of exhaust gas released into the atmosphere for both units consistently remained below 20%, and Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) values fluctuated between 20-40 mg/m3 throughout May 2020. This demonstrates effective emission control.
