This report summarizes the results of ambient air quality monitoring for March 2019, covering the measurement of Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) gas, and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gas at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Ban Chang Subdistrict Municipality (Mosque), PTT Staff Residence, and Wat Mab Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) throughout March 2019 showed that all monitoring stations recorded values below the established standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, the 24-hour average measurements for Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) consistently showed values below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter at all monitoring stations.
For hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) gas measurements, all monitoring stations throughout March 2019 recorded values below the standard of 300 parts per billion (ppb). Hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gas values were also below the standard of 170 parts per billion (ppb).
In summary, the ambient air quality monitoring results for all parameters, namely Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) gas, and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gas, for March 2019 at all 4 monitoring stations, were consistently below the legally prescribed standards throughout the month.
