Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Report for February 2020 presents the air quality measurement results from 4 monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Trok Yai Cha, Keha, and Wat Mab Chalood, throughout February 2020.
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) showed that the values measured throughout the month were below the Thai legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, the 24-hour average measurements for Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) were below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter at all monitoring stations.
For the hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the values were found to be very low and below the Thai legal standards of 300 ppb and 170 ppb, respectively, throughout February 2020.
During the monitoring period, some observations were noted. For example, monitoring station C had incomplete data on February 5, 2020, for TSP and PM10. Monitoring station A experienced analyzer errors on February 22, 2020, for TSP, and on February 17, 2020, for PM10. Additionally, seasonal weather conditions in mid-February were identified as a factor for PM10. Full details are available in the attached file.
