The BLCP Power Station's Air Quality Report for February 2019 summarizes the results of ambient air quality measurements around the power plant throughout the month. Measurement results from 4 monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Map Ta Phut Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood, consistently show that all types of air pollutants are at good levels and below Thailand's legal standard values.
For 24-hour average measurements of Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), the values measured throughout February 2019 were consistently below 100 micrograms per cubic meter, which is significantly lower than the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, 24-hour average concentrations of Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) were below 60 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month, which is lower than the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), the maximum hourly values measured throughout February 2019 were consistently below 60 ppb, which is significantly lower than the legal standard of 300 ppb. And for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the maximum hourly values were also below 50 ppb throughout the month, which is lower than the standard of 170 ppb.
In summary, the ambient air quality measurement results around the BLCP Power Station in February 2019 show that air pollutant values for TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2 are at safe levels and below all legally prescribed standards. Full details and graphical data are available in the attached file.
