This report summarizes the results of ambient air quality measurements around BLCP Power Station for December 2018. Measurements were conducted at Takuwan, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Makham Chalut monitoring stations.
The 24-hour average measurements of Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) and Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) throughout December 2018 were found to be below the standard limits of 330 µg/Nm³ and 120 µg/Nm³, respectively, at all monitoring stations.
Regarding the maximum hourly Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) values, values exceeding the standard limit of 300 ppb were observed at monitoring station B during December 13-14, 2018.
However, BLCP Power Station investigated and found that the wind direction at that time was from north to south, indicating that the SO2 measurements exceeding the standard were not caused by the normal operations of BLCP Power Station.
As for the maximum hourly Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) values throughout December 2018, they were below the standard limit of 170 ppb at all monitoring stations.
