The Monthly Air Quality Report for August 2019 of BLCP Power Station presented the results of ambient air quality monitoring in various areas, namely Wat Takuan, Thoet Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurements of Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) throughout August 2019 consistently showed values below the established standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Data from Shelters A, B, C, and D are currently being collected.
For the 24-hour average measurements of Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) at the same air quality monitoring stations, all measured values were also below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month. Data from Shelter D are currently being collected.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), the maximum hourly values measured at various stations throughout August 2019 were clearly below the standard of 300 parts per billion (ppb). Similarly, for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the maximum hourly values were below the standard of 170 parts per billion (ppb) throughout August 2019. SO2 data from Shelter D are currently being collected.
In summary, the overall air quality monitoring results for August 2019 showed that all values for TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2 were below the legally prescribed standards. Further details can be found in the attached file.
