Monthly Air Quality Report for September 2017 presents the results of ambient air quality monitoring around BLCP Power Station, covering Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gases.
Monitoring stations include Wat Takuan, Third Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood. Throughout September 2017, all types of air quality measurements at these stations were within the standards prescribed by Thai law.
For Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), the 24-hour average values consistently remained below the standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, for PM10, the 24-hour average values were also below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
Regarding Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), the maximum hourly values were below the standard of 300 ppb. And for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), the maximum hourly values were also below the standard of 170 ppb throughout the month.
It is noted that the Beta ray source cell at Station D: Wat Mab Chalood was damaged starting from September 4, 2017. Further details can be found in the attached file.
